About
ZZ's and Socialista resident. Melodic, Afro and deep house that builds slowly and holds the floor late.
ARKiTEKT is a Miami-based DJ and producer with nearly twenty years behind the decks and a sound built for rooms that stay late. His sets move through melodic, Afro, and deep house with disco and 80s textures woven in, building slowly and holding the floor rather than chasing it.
Originally from Akron, Ohio, he started on a Technics 1200 at 18, trained in Chicago, and earned a degree in music management and marketing before moving to Miami in 2010. He holds residencies at ZZ's Club and Socialista, is the local face of Haute Living events, and has played private parties for an A-list client roster. World Red Eye described his Miami Music Week set at Mary Lou's as “deep, melodic.”
For hospitality venues, members' clubs, and private events that want a sophisticated late-night sound, ARKiTEKT programs music that matches the room's identity and keeps guests there.
