About

Kingston-born, Miami-made. Dancehall and Caribbean energy, from Coachella to Walshy Fire's Rum & Bass.

Silent Addy is a Kingston-born, Miami-raised DJ, producer and creative director who has shaped much of the dancehall heard in Miami over the past decade. He came up with the city's Eccentrix Sound, toured as DJ for Chi Ching Ching and J. Capri, and produced "Nah Go Home" featuring Popcaan before building the parties that defined the scene: Way Up! Thursdays, Miami Vice Episode at Gramps and Coco Jelly at The Miami Beach EDITION.

As one half of Bashment Sound with Disco Neil, he co-produced Moliy's "Shake It to the Max (Fly)", the biggest dancehall record of the decade: number 44 on the Billboard Hot 100, number one on the US Afrobeats chart for seven weeks, certified Gold in the US and Platinum in the UK, with remixes alongside Sean Paul, Major Lazer, Skillibeng and Shenseea. The duo host a regular show on NTS Radio and followed it with "Ballerina" featuring Rema and Skillibeng.

He has played Coachella, holds a residency at Walshy Fire's Rum & Bass, and has co-produced with Ape Drums and Vybz Kartel. His parties pull Diplo, Sean Paul and Ape Drums into the crowd. For brand activations, private events and nightlife that want Caribbean energy done properly, Silent Addy brings Jamaican culture to the front of the room.
