About
David 'Dysomnia' Nachmany grew up in a household full of music from different countries, cultures, and genres, received his first DJ deck at 11, and fought his way into performing at every major club in New York City. Along the way he supported The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Major Lazer, R3HAB, and Lil Jon, performed frequently at TAO Group's Marquee, and held a residency at Pacha NYC.
In 2020 he moved to Miami and became head resident DJ at Major Food Group's HaSalon Miami for its first two years, blending Middle Eastern and Moroccan flair with current and throwback hits across English, Spanish, and French. He then joined Groot Hospitality as a resident, performing weekly at Komodo, Swan, Strawberry Moon, and Gekko, and in 2023 took on a residency at Bagatelle Miami.
